Want to learn about some awesome, multi-purpose products that you can buy once and use through many multiple phases of life?
Something I really love is finding products that last! Things that can be used for multiple purposes and through a variety of phases of life. Just as an example, I don’t love maternity clothes that can only be worn for a few short months and then no longer serve a purpose. If I’m buying maternity clothing, I want 99% of it to also be breastfeeding friendly or move on to the postpartum period and beyond.

When you can buy a single product that serves multiple purposes, less ends up as waste!
These products tend to have a little higher price tag. BUT- they last. They can be used for multiple pregnancies and postpartum.
If you have one product instead of two or three, you can enjoy having less within your home, less to store, etc.

I recognize just having some names isn’t super helpful. So, let’s talk about what is great about each one.
The Mumsie...
The Mumsie babywearing overalls are something really unique in that they are not only maternity friendly, but also fantastic for babywearing and beyond. I was able to easily breastfeed in these while wearing, but also used it as a nursing support while baby was too young to babywear in them.
They offer a variety of styles to fit most aesthetics and also different weather!
I personally find the skirt options can be fantastic if you know you’ll want to be able to easily use the bathroom. You don’t even have to take your child out if you don’t want to. And, while some might find that gross, I personally find it much cleaner in comparison to putting them down in a public restroom where they put their hands on everything!

The Latched Mama Harbor Snap...
The Latched Mama Harbor Snap is a product that I love using for pregnancy (lots of extra space for a growing belly, while breastfeeding (easy snap down nursing or pumping access) and over my baby while babywearing to create a super cozy place for us to cuddle. I love that I get multiple uses out of this that exceeds just pregnancy or breastfeeding. I personally find sizing up one is the best fit for most situations, but if you really want to use with a larger baby or toddler, possibly two sizes up. I find it’s still a great fit, even without babywearing or having a pregnancy bump. It’s also the softest, stretchiest fabric! I have had a few for a couple years and they have remained just as soft.
Mamalila...
Babywearing Coats can be an absolutely incredible investment piece. They do come in a variety of different price points, but I have found that overall, spending the little extra on a quality, well established brand ensures you get many seasons of use. If you’re looking for something that will help provide some gentle support during your pregnancy, but also provide some snuggles with your little one, check out the Hippie Joey! This incredibly versatile piece of fabric seems simple, and yet they have spent an incredible amount of time to find the perfect fabrics that are supportive, soft, comfortable and truly versatile. I’ve used it this pregnancy, for snuggles with all ages, as a scarf and more. It truly is a great option and one of my go to’s for so many situations.

MLM Brand is not an MLM.. just a maternity and breastfeeding brand that provides timeless and classic looks. I really love that they also offer the option of Preloved clothing directly on their website!! So, you can get the same great styles at a lower cost point and also support less waste. This brand is included because all of their pieces can be used during pregnancy and for breastfeeding (pumping or nursing!) I Personally am a huge fan of the access. As someone with a smaller chest, most access points leave a lot of extra, baggy fabric around my chest. This sits with a stretchy seam just under your bust with another piece of fabric layering over by a few inches, creating a much nicer look against the skin.

The Ozznek Shoe ...
Lastly, I just wanted to add one more versatile baby or toddler option! It can be nice to have a single pair of shoes that serves multiple purposes, so I wanted to share these too!
The Ozznek Shoe sets are a unique design that allows the shoe sole to be removed and the top becomes an indoor slipper. I also find it useful during the muddy season when I want the kids feet to stay warm, but I don’t want their dirty feet all over the back of the car seats. I just pull off the soles and set them in a little baggy (or just dirty side up on the ground) and then the car stays clean and the kids have warm feet!
